Dear OMEP members,
We would like to extend our invitation to our seminar ‘OMEP UK Past, Present and Future’ on the morning of the AGM, Saturday 17th November.
It begins at 9.30 with welcome refreshments and opens at 9.55 with a welcome followed by a talk by Shelly Newstead: Leading Researcher, Writer and Editor on Adventure Playgrounds, Playwork and Childhood about OMEP Founder Lady Allen of Hurtwood. This will be followed by some contributions from members and opportunities for questions and discussion. We will take a break at midday before the AGM. There is no charge but there will be a collection for the OMEP Children’s Fund.
The schedule of the full day is as follows;
09:00am – the room will be open
09:30am – tea/ coffee and pastries will be available
09:55am – welcome by Paulette Luff (President of OMEP UK)
10:00am – address by Shelly Newstead: Leading Researcher, Writer and Editor on Adventure Playgrounds, Playwork and Childhood
11:00am – address by Paulette Luff
11:20am – address by Adeola Olajide and Leanne Johnson
12:00pm – refreshment break
12:30pm – AGM
14:00pm – Close of AGM
